Survey committee

Seventh-day Adventist leaders from the General Conference, the Inter-American Division and the South Central American Union pose for a group photo after a two-day survey committee meeting with local leaders in Panama City, Panama, Aug. 24-25, 2014.  The survey committee studied and recommended that the church in Panama be approved as a union mission, thus reorganizing the South Central American Union to consist of just Costa Rica and Nicaragua. The Panama Union would become the 23rd union, or church region, of the IAD once the Adventist World Church approves it next month during its annual council meetings.
