Hope Channel Inter-America signs collaboration agreement with Montemorelos University

Inter-American Division leaders representing Hope Channel Inter-America signed a special collaboration agreement with leaders at the Montemorelos University last week that will allow both to team up in a number of projects for the multi-channel television network.

The agreement, signed on the Montemorelos campus in Mexico, on July 8, will include available human resources and equipment for needed productions for Hope Channel Inter-America’s Spanish channel Esperanza TV Interamérica.

In Inter-America, Organizers ramp up planning for next year’s territory-wide Pathfinder Camporee

The Pathfinder Camporee will be a great opportunity to strengthen young people as they meet their peers in other countries and islands from the IAD, involve them in community outreach in Santo Domingo, and form them into leaders in love with Jesus more every day, said Louise Nocandy, associate youth ministries director and main organizer of the camporee.

In Inter-America, Top leadership urges its church leaders to use technology

Top Seventh-day Adventist leaders in Inter-America want administrators, ministers and leaders across the territory to be innovators in using technology to strengthen their congregations in support of the mission of the church. Leaders spoke during a live online session coined as CommSessions yesterday from the Inter-American Division (IAD) Headquarters in Miami, Florida.

The one-hour CommSessions brought top church leaders and communication leaders to collaborate on how to use available technology to share the gospel in their communities and on cyberspace.

Inter-America to celebrate ASI Emphasis Day June 18

Hundreds of Seventh-day Adventist business owners and professionals across the Inter-American Division (IAD) will have the opportunity this Sabbath, June 18, to reaffirm their commitment of sharing Christ in their businesses and invite other professionals to join in support of the mission of the church.

The Adventist-laymen’s Services and Industries (ASI) Emphasis Day in Inter-America will provide guidance and support for ASI members to reach their chapter goals as they preach the gospel in their project ministries where they live.

In Mexico, Pastors commit to engaging their members more in the mission of the church with the “Lord Transform Me” initiative

Johan Pineda stands as the district pastor who has baptized the most people into the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Mexico with 296 new members in 2015. At 31 years of age, he leads 26 churches and 10 small congregations, or companies, in Ocosingo, Chiapas, one of the several religious intolerant regions in the country.

Pineda believes the work of evangelism is all about getting his membership of more than 1,100 actively involved in spreading the gospel in creative ways.

Inter-America brings Adventist leaders for a “Lord Transform Me” regional summit in Mexico

Hundreds of Seventh-day Adventist leaders from across Mexico and Jamaica converged in Riviera Maya in South Mexico last night to pursue a transformation in Christ Jesus and to be instructed on the evangelism initiative that will drive the church in their respective territories during the next four years.

“Just by having a personal relationship with the Lord, we are transformed,” said Filiberto Verduzco, treasurer of the church in Inter-America as he addressed the more than 1,300 ministers and church administrators.

In Central America, church leaders gear up to fully implement the Lord Transform Me initiative

Church leaders in Central America have a big task before them: To inspire nearly one million Seventh-day Adventists in six countries to seek a spiritual transformation through a life of prayer and bible study.

Leaders met for a special summit in Nicaragua led by the Inter-American Division (IAD) this week to review strategies and activities to accomplish this work, which is called the “Lord Transform Me” evangelism initiative.

Adventist leaders in Central America are called on to seek a transformation in Jesus

More than 250 administrators, department directors, and district pastors from unions, conferences, missions and institutions across Central America convened in Montelimar, Nicaragua, for the next two days to pray, reflect, and study strategies and activities to join in Inter-America’s Lord Transform Me evangelism initiative.

“We all need to be transformed in the image of Christ Jesus,” said Pastor Israel Leito, president of the church in Inter-America, as he addressed the leadership.

In Inter-America, church leaders take time for spiritual emphasis reflection

Seventh-day Adventist leaders and staff at the Inter-American Division (IAD) headquarter office in Miami, Florida, took time to pray and worship during a week of spiritual emphasis May 16-21, 2016.

The week of prayer allowed the more than 75 church employees time for spiritual reflection as the church across the Inter-America embarks on seeking a personal and collective transformation from studying the Word of God in daily prayer and guidance of the Holy Spirit for further service in the church and the community during the current five-year period.
