Thousands of young people across the Seventh-day Adventist Church around the world will take center stage in their communities to unite in carrying out acts of kindness and sharing hope everywhere they go on Sabbath, March 17, 2018.
The annual special day coined as Global Youth Day, is sponsored by the General Conference’s youth ministries department and motivates young people to get out of their comfort zones to “Be the Sermon” as they show the love of Jesus in their communities.

Seventeen months after Hope Channel Inter-America was officially launched, Seventh-day Adventist leaders are aiming for greater collaboration among its regional church leadership and multiple media centers across the Inter-American Division (IAD) territory. The goal is to increase the visibility of the television channel to reach millions with the message of hope and salvation.
Church administrators, channel coordinators, communication directors, media center staff and production teams were called upon to strengthen the image, vision and mission of the channel during a special online training held on Mar. 6, 2018, from the IAD Office in Miami, Florida.

A special two-hour Hope Channel Inter-America advisory meeting will take place on Tuesday, Mar. 6, from the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s Inter-American Division (IAD) headquarter office in Miami, Florida. The live online event will be addressed mainly to union, or regional, communication directors and channel coordinators, as well as personnel across the 18 media production centers throughout the IAD territory.

Sabbath School teachers who serve in more than 22,000 churches and congregations all across the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America were reaffirmed of their vital role in discipling students and members during an online event held on Feb. 24, 2018.
The six-hour Sabbath School Online Congress event, which took place in Miami, Florida, celebrated the culmination of thousands of certification trainings, which began early in 2016, and highlighted the purpose of the school in the life of the church.

Top Seventh-day Adventist leaders across the Inter-American Division (IAD) have taken a hard look this week at finding a way to reach more believers with the truth of the gospel throughout the territory. The goal is for the growth of the church to keep on a straight upward path.

Thousands of local church elders across the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America celebrated their completion of a special certification during an online program held at the Inter-American Division (IAD) Headquarters in Miami, Florida, on Feb. 17, 2018.
The event was part of a comprehensive certification training strategy aimed at equipping church elders to better nurture and disciple members throughout the more than 22,000 churches and congregations in the IAD.

Local church elders across the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America will take part in a comprehensive training program to train them to better assist pastors in leading the more than 22,000 churches and congregations across the territory.
The online event, themed “Discipling the Flock”, will take place on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018. The program will feature messages, seminars, and presentations to enhance the ministry of more than 30,000 local church elders who help shepherd the 3.7 million membership in the IAD.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America continued on the heels of its recently launched Year of the Child and Adolescent with the unveiling of its new Vacation Bible School program last week.
More than 160 children’s and adolescent ministries directors from across the Inter-American Division (IAD) territory gathered for a two-day workshop in Miami, Florida, on Jan. 31 to Feb. 1, to reaffirm their commitment to one of its strongest outreach programs of the year.

Seventh-day Adventist pastors, leaders and communicators got a glimpse last week of the new website that the Inter-American Division’s communication department will be launching soon.
The preview of the website was featured during a CommSessions event. The new website will continue to feature news, more stories, more resources, all adapted to the church’s latest identity guideline system.
