Two female pastors, both passionately committed to leading others to Jesus, are helping the Seventh-day Adventist Church expand in eastern Cuba.
Gilma Carbonell, 44, leads the largest Adventist church in Cuba, the Guantanamo Central Adventist Church in the city of Guatanamo. She ministers to more than 1,000 church members, who pack the inside and outside of the church every Sabbath.

Children and Adolescents Ministries at the Inter-American Division (IAD) recently launched a series of resources available online for children throughout the vast territory.
The resources include five game apps, five animated shorts, as well as audio and interactive online books where character building and Christian values are reinforced.

Seventh-day Adventists rom across the Inter-American Division (IAD) territory celebrated their diversity, culture, and church heritage during the 60th General Conference Session, held in San Antonio, Texas, July 2-11, 2015.
The IAD’s exhibit booth, on display at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and Exhibit Hall, highlighted the 24 major church regions and 15 universities in the territory. It is the largest booth the IAD has ever featured at a GC Session.

Delegates of the 60th General Conference Session from the Inter-American Division (IAD) voted to appoint its vice presidents and church department directors to lead the 3.7 million membership for the next five years.
The meeting, held July 9, 2015, gathered 390 IAD delegates at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, United States.

Days after the General Conference voted to re-elect Pastor Israel Leito as president of the church in Inter-America, Dr. Elie Henry was re-elected as executive secretary and Filiberto Verduzco was re-elected as treasurer of the Inter-American Division (IAD).

Pastor Abner De Los Santos was elected as general vice president for the Seventh-day Adventist world church during the 60th General Conference business session yesterday in San Antonio, Texas.
The election came as the church chose its six vice presidents who will help implement three mission-oriented goals that will be a priority around the world during the next five years.

Pastor Israel Leito, president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America was re-elected Monday, July 6, to serve another five years as president of the vast growing membership.
Pastor Leito was confirmed by the GC Session delegation after his name was submitted by the Nominating Committee of the world church.

Hours after the official opening of the 60th General Conference Session today in San Antonio, Texas, nearly 400 delegates and top church leaders from throughout the Inter-American Division (IAD) territory met to choose 40 nominating committee members.
The new committee members will represent the IAD when nominating the next president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church worldwide, which is scheduled to take place tomorrow.

In less than a week, thousands of Seventh-day Adventists from all over the world will convene in San Antonio, Texas for the 60th General Conference Session to participate in business meetings and have an opportunity to visit hundreds of exhibit booths showcasing Adventist organizations and their institutions.
The Inter-American Division (IAD), with its vast territory of 24 major church region and various institutions, will get to highlight its vast multi-cultural, multi-language territory in its large exhibit display area during the 10-day session.
